A Backpack Built for Mom and Dad

Hailey Andersen of Household Mag and her husband Zack take us on a day trip around Phoenix, Arizona — the city where they first met — with their Hanover Deluxe in tow.

Phoenix has a special place in our hearts. It’s where Zack and I met back in high school, and where we lived in when we found out I was pregnant with Owen. Watching our son run through the streets of a city that holds so much history for us warms my heart beyond belief.

One Backpack, Two Parents

The Hanover Deluxe’s minimalist, unisex style makes co-parenting a breeze

Since Owen was born, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect backpack for Zack and I to share. We were sick of carrying two separate backpacks and swapping Owen’s belongings between the two, so when we first saw the Hanover Deluxe backpack, Zack was beyond stoked. Call him crazy, but I guess he’s not the biggest fan of my extra feminine leather bags. I think his exact words were, ‘Yes, I’ve been wanting a backpack just like this.

Legroom for the Whole Family

Designed with a little extra space and just the right amount of organization.

It’s a bag our entire family can share. It’s organized in a way that gives the feel of a diaper bag without compromising style or being too “kiddish”... Luckily, this bag allows you to pack everything you need without having to stack items in a way that makes them tricky to get to or puts you in a position where you might ruin an electronic by having it too close to a bottle or something else that’s wet.

Mom & Dad's Items:

  • Laptop
  • Cellphones
  • Keys
  • Wallets
  • Sunglasses
  • Water Bottle

Owen's Items

  • Diaper Mat
  • Diapers
  • Wet Wipes
  • Small Toys
  • Sunscreen
  • Healthy Snacks

Easily Accessible Pockets

Having a front pocket like this is so helpful when you’re on the go. It’s the perfect place to store your wallet, sunglasses, phones, and anything else you might need in a moments notice. Let’s not forget to mention the key leash, this little hook is a game changer.

Cleaning Made Simple when Accidents Happen

There are always those times where we’re in a rush and throw something inside that creates a mess. Luckily, the entire interior is removable and cleans so easy.

Travel Made Seamless

A back sleeve for travel days and comfortable memory foam straps for exploring.

We’ve clearly had plenty of travel days as a family and I can’t say enough how helpful this is when you’re traveling with young kids. Anything that can make the process hands-free we are on board with.
