Care Instructions

If needed, we suggest spot cleaning the bag, but only with a small amount of water (preferably distilled) apply gently with a soft cloth. However, test a small area of the bag first before applying all over to avoid any damage.

Things to Avoid - Make sure not to expose the leather to too much moisture because this will cause damage to the leather. Do not use any kind of oils, polish, or products containing waxes or silicone, as it may damage the leather. Do not use saddle soap, alcohol, varnish, ammonia-based cleaners (i.e. Windex), or bleach as they may cause serious damage or discoloration. And lastly, do not use baby wipes or any other alkaline cleaners as it may damage the finish of the leather.

"I purchased the Rowledge a few years ago in the smaller size when it was available. I used it for everything and got so many compliments on my bag! But I needed to get the bigger size for work and waited for the Black Friday sale to splurge. "I did a lot of research before I selected this one. I wanted security from someone behind me getting my wallet, easy access to my lotion, keys, sunglasses. My favorite feature is the small pocket on the top. I carry my credit card in it so I don’t have to open my backpack to pay for things. The side pockets are great for carrying phone or drink and will hold a 40 oz cup. This bp is well made"

"Beautifully made, unfortunately it did not suit my purpose. Everything about this bag is gorgeous. I love my other Lo & Sons bags and they last forever. Unfortunately, this one was not quite big enough for my needs. The insert seems to take up more room than you'd imagine. But without it, you lose some of the organizational features that make the bag shine. I highly recommend it, just not if you want to carry a laptop, keyboard, lunch, breakfast, and a few other smaller items."

Is it save to put pins on the nylon part of the bag?: Yes, it's generally safe to put pins on the nylon part of the bag. But reminder that using pins on the nylon part of the bag will leave permanent holes in the fabric. To minimize any potential damage, be gentle when inserting and removing the pins. Just be mindful not to use excessive force to avoid any potential damage to the fabric.

Does a 16" MacBook Pro 2019 fit into the large bookbag?: Hi Emma! The Rowledge Large is designed to fit 13" laptops. The laptop pocket dimensions are as follows: Length 13.5” x Width 9.5”. Any laptop within these dimensions will fit but any larger and it will not. Hope this helps!
I saw another Q&A saying that this bag will fit *some* laptops larger than 13". Do you happen to know if it will fit a 15" MacBook Pro?: Hi Liz! The laptop pocket for the Rowledge measures 13.5"L x 9.5"W so if your MacBook Pro is within these measurements (which some are), it should fit in the laptop pocket! I am a long-time OMG fan, so I just bought the OG2 and Rowledge for myself. I noticed that both are very stiff, and it seems hard to get the openings to flex to pack things so much so that I feel like the Rowledge is cramped when I am trying to put in things to the center compartment. Is this a side effect of the laptop compartment? New zippers? I am torn because I love your bags, but they both don't feel like the comfy user experience I had before. Is there a way to pack them to make it less rigid when I put things in?: Hi Effie! Thanks so much for reaching out, your recent purchases, and your loyalty and support of Lo & Sons! So, the OG 2 does feature a design upgrade that does further fortify its structure. We suspect that a little more use of the both the OG 2 and Rowledge will "break" them in as your bags have all new materials. The laptop compartment in both bags while padded should not cause significant stiffness in the bags, though they do help give structure to both bags. You can also remove the insert from the Rowledge if you'd like unstructured use of the bag. If in two weeks you do not notice a considerable difference, please reach out to us at support@loandsons.com with images or a video (if possible) and we will work with you to find a solution.
Hi there. This bag looks amazing. Before I buy I wanted to know how does it compare to the original Hanover bag which I bought a couple years ago? For domestic USA orders, we accept returns for any unused products within 30 days upon receiving your order. A $10 return shipping and processing fee will be deducted from your refund. Returned products must have their original packaging, uncut hang tag with barcode, not show any signs of use, wear and tear, marks/scratches, alterations, or any kind of damage.

For international orders, unfortunately at this time, we cannot accept returns. But of course, we will always honor our warranty in the rare case a product has a defect or malfunctions.
