"The size and compartments are amazing as is the zip out side pockets. However. The zippers remain thin and weak on this product (my 3rd attempt at buying this backpack) so it’s only a matter of time before this zipper breaks. Please please please make your zippers more sturdy and then it would be a perfect travel backpack."

Noisy jingling zipper pulls

"I have a 5 year old version of this bag, love it, and got another one so I can have one for work and one for travel. The first thing I noticed when I strapped the new one on -- it's really noisy. They are using heavier duty zipper solid metal pulls with no holes and no rope pull thingy on the end. These bang against each other with every move and made me feel a bit like a Salvation Army bell ringer. These new "upgraded" zippers are not currently pictured on the website. I reached out to support for a resolution... obviously I could have returned, but I like the design of the bag otherwise. I've cut off the zipper pulls and replaced with others instead... I'm happy now, but wish I didn't have to take dykes to a new bag to make it quiet :)"

Excellent backpack with many thoughtful functions

"I've had the original Hanover backpack since 2019 and it's still going strong, so I bought the 2.0 version of the larger one for trips etc. but I am enjoying using it for work every day. The top small pouch is so handy if I need to remove my phone quickly. I like that the front pocket does not take space from within the bag, and I love that the insert is removable if I want to travel slightly lighter, although the bag is very light to begin with. The zippers unzip easily but are still secure. My only complaint is the straps are rather stiff/hard compared to my original Hanover, but hopefully they will soften with time."

I just ordered a Hanover 2 Deluxe but it looks like the zipper tags are different from the ones used in the video- they do not have that extra threaded loop. Did I get an older version of the bag?: Hi Samere, The Hanover Deluxe 2 you got was the newer zipper version. Unfortunately, we have yet to update our website but we will do so soon! Can the outside pockets hold 24oz water bottles?: Hi Christina, Our Hanover Deluxe 2 bags features two side water bottle pockets that are designed to be deep (the pocket is approximately 8.75" tall with a 5.5" width). As long as your water bottle fits within these dimensions, it should fit inside of the pocket! Thank you!

Will this fit the new MacBook Pro? 16 ": Hi Katie. The laptop pocket dimensions for the Hanover Deluxe 2 as listed on our site are below: Width 11.5" Height 15.5" If your laptop is within these dimensions, it should fit! Otherwise, it will be too large!

Is the laptop compartment padded at all? I have the original Hanover and the laptop compartment was not separate but rather had a padded place in the big main compartment. I travel a lot for work and want to make sure my laptop is sufficiently protected when placing under the airline seat or in the overhead bin.: Hi Alex, great question! Does the Hanover match the OG or are their materials very different looking? Thanks.: Thank you so much for your question! The Hanover Deluxe and Hanover Deluxe 2 models are made with our 600D Recycled Poly material, whereas our O.G. 2 models are constructed with lightweight Nylon and feature Nappa Leather details. They're quite different materials in appearance and texture; however, if you were to use both of them in complimentary colors, you'd be very organized and look quite put-together! For domestic USA orders, we accept returns for any unused products within 30 days upon receiving your order. A $10 return shipping and processing fee will be deducted from your refund. Returned products must have their original packaging, uncut hang tag with barcode, not show any signs of use, wear and tear, marks/scratches, alterations, or any kind of damage.

For international orders, unfortunately at this time, we cannot accept returns. But of course, we will always honor our warranty in the rare case a product has a defect or malfunctions.
