We kept the strap buckles from the first edition of the Aoyama to preserve the easy convertibility of the strap. But we removed the branding from the strap to make it more understated and elevated.
We made the key leash an elastic material to make it even easier to grab your keys without having to unhook them from the leash.

"I loved using this bag for travel this summer. First, the color is great. The material, nylon, has stood up well. The purse fell into a puddle and looks none the worse for wear. Like that lanyard attachment and the mesh interior pockets for keeping items separate. Good size and the versatility of the shoulder strap is quite fun."
"This bag holds more than it looks like from the outside. It's lightweight and has plenty of pockets to keep me organized. I've had it for a couple of weeks and like wearing it with the adjustable strap set on it's shortest setting. I can extend the strap when I want to make it cross chest. "I love this bag. As always, I love all the compartments, key lanyard, and the side phone zip. One thing I wish was a bit different is tat the buckle sometimes rubs against my collarbone when I have it in crissbody mode, but I haven't had a lot of time ti mess with the length to see if it will lay differently. Not a deal breaker though."

"Versatile bag for day and night with very little worry of wearing out the exterior material (I used to own the original leather Aoyama with the branded strap, hardly used it). The elastic key leash is a great upgrade and makes such a huge difference when trying to find my keys or keychain wallet. The netted slip pockets are a big awkward cuz they're pretty tall, not too stretchy, and I have to dig to get my lip balm pot or travel hand sanitizer out. I rarely use the pocket intended for pens. Very happy with the new strap w/o branding. Since I usually wear the bag crossbody with both strap pieces attached, the buckles manage to rub weirdly on my shoulder so I scoot them over occasionally when I'm REALLY thinking about them. Hoping L&S will sell replacement strap parts just in case I happen to shatter a buckle or misplace a piece. Glad the side zip pocket is still there, but wish there was a D-ring on the interior for optional key leashes (like in the side pockets of the Hanover). Overall happy with my purchase!"

"I've been eyeing Lo & Sons products for a while. I purchased the Aoyama 2 bag as an early birthday present for myself and to take it on vacation. The bag is big enough to carry enough, but not too much. The strap adjustability and side zipper are winning features. One note, I would have preferred silver or grey (cool colors) hardware instead of gold (warm color). All in all, a great bag!"
