"Great size and look for everyday work backpack. I do miss the side pockets for small water bottles but was happily surprised with the size and function of the two outside pockets(front and top) for easy phone, key card, sunglasses and key storage. it fits my surface pro perfectly, but probably wouldn’t fit anything bigger. The sleek size keeps me from carrying around more stuff than I need to."
"The Beacon is so cute and absolutely perfect for my use. I wanted a backpack that was as small and compact as possible while still fitting my work laptop. I was worried about all of the reviews, but my laptop fit perfectly. When I need it, I can also fit my personal laptop in the main compartment, though very little else will fit when I have both laptops in there, which is fine for my routine/setup. I love my Beacon!"
"Material is beautiful. Wish the design was a smidge bigger to fit a 13 inch laptop but it does fit a large ipad nicely and description of size was accurate. Wish the interior water bottle holder was a bit bigger to accommodate a slightly wider bottle."
"This is the bag I've been searching for! Practical and stylish. Every design component is thoughtful and purposeful. There is a place for everything and it's easy to get to what you need quickly. When packed full, it's still very balanced and comfortable to carry. I've always hated backpacks for how juvenile they look, but a chic tote just doesn't work well if you are traveling frequently and running around a city. This backpack still looks professional after I fly across the country and then head straight to a customer meeting. I especially appreciate the padded straps and low bulk factor. I am replacing 3 other bags with this one!"
"I love this backpack but I wish it was just a tad deeper. The height is good for my use as I can now stuff a file folder in the back section without having to bend the folder when I zip it shut. The front pocket is tight and difficult to place your hand into it; I’ve scratched myself on the zipper many times trying to retrieve what I put in there. Easy to order, very well packaged and arrives on time."

But recently, I had gone to a conference and found it heavy to carry around the whole day as I was rarely sitting in one place. So, for my next big conference, I wanted a bag that was still super cute and professional looking, but not too large. This easily carries my small laptop (not mine is 13", some snacks, a notebook and a small cardigan. perfect for my conference needs."
"I purchased the Rowledge bag. Love all of the great features, especially the small picket on top. The downside is that it was heavy for me. I was using it as a purse and it’s perfect for shopping or travel. It’s heavy for everyday so I ordered the Beacon. It also has great features. I wish there was a little more room in the bottom of the bag. I can’t carry my wallet and makeup bag. I’m still trying to figure out how to make it all work. I just wish it was a little bit deeper or that I could remove the inside like on my Rowledge. I do like the quality and awesome features in you bags. I did a lot of research before I bought the Rowledge."
"I found this bag to be smaller than expected (I'm replacing one of similar size but it seems to have room for more stuff. ) I also was disappointed that I couldn't return it even for an exchange, it will be going to any consignment store that will take it. Finally, the big gold zipper is a bit silly, the covered black zippers look much better."
"This is an elegant, well made backpack perfect for travel, daily errands, or going into the office. A tablet fits in it well but probably not a laptop. The material is water resistant, wipes clean and is a strong material. Quality hardwear and it's stitched well. Love this bag!"
"I bought this as a replacement for a Lo & Sons bag I bought several years ago which has been discontinued (the Hanover 2). The bag looked comparable online, but it's about half the size. It's super small and the front pocket is difficult to open. I'm struggling to think of a practical use for it now that I see the size. I wish I could return it but it was final sale. It seems like there aren't any comparable bags to the Hanover."
